ARTICLE 1 – A stay surrounded by nature
Thank you for choosing to stay at our lodges. You are about to enjoy an exceptional experience in a wild natural environment, which we ask you to respect. Silence and contemplation are the order of the day in the hills, so we ask our guests to respect the peace and quiet of the site. In particular, please walk quietly around the estate for your own comfort, that of the surrounding wildlife, and also for your neighbors! Thank you for your understanding.
Your car must be parked in our customer parking lot. You will mainly be walking around the site, but if you wish, you can use an electric cart driven by a member of the Coteaux team. Vehicles are therefore not allowed beyond the parking area. We also ask our guests not to stray from the paths in order to preserve the flora and fauna of the site.
Nature means insects, birds, and mammals: it is therefore not uncommon to find them outside, but also, occasionally, inside your lodges.
The weather can also be unpredictable, which can complicate travel in the area and require appropriate equipment, but this in no way detracts from the magic of the place—quite the contrary !
Finally, some areas of the estate are quite steep, so please take care when walking around the site. It is precisely this steepness that gives the estate its charm and offers superb views. Please note that some lodges close to the reception building are easily accessible; details of these are provided on the website.
ARTICLE 2 – Fire risk
At Les Coteaux, the safety of our guests is our top priority. As our lodges are located in the heart of a 100-hectare woodland area with dense vegetation in places, we ask our guests to be extremely vigilant with regard to the risk of fire. In particular, it is strictly forbidden to light fires or throw cigarette butts on the entire estate, light candles or smoke inside the lodges. Ashtrays are available on the terraces. Our lodges are equipped with fire extinguishers.
We also recommend extreme caution when using wood-burning stoves or stoves for Nordic baths. If in doubt, please do not hesitate to contact the Coteaux team.
ARTICLE 3 – Arrival and departure
Check-in is available from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

To be valid, a booking must be paid for in full.
Similarly, gift vouchers must be paid for at the time of ordering.
ARTICLE 5 – Payment and payment methods
Various payment methods are available :
a. Payment by credit card (preferred)
For bookings made via our online system, secure payment is possible by credit card. The full amount of your stay will then be debited and your booking immediately confirmed.
b. Payment by another means of payment
For payments by cheque, holiday vouchers or bank transfer, please contact us directly by telephone or email, indicating the dates, the lodge and the services required. The booking will then be held for a maximum of 15 calendar days (‘option’). Receipt of the full amount for the stay within this period will confirm the booking. After 15 days, if payment has not been received, this option will be cancelled and your pre-booking will be cancelled.

- ANCV holiday vouchers (paper and electronic). Please note that we do not refund the difference on these vouchers.
- Gift voucher via the code provided
- Cash payments are only possible on site. Please contact us.
ARTICLE 6 – Modification or cancellation of your booking
For any changes or cancellations, you will be required to send a written request by email to hello@lescoteaux.fr. Alternatively, you can send us a letter to Les Coteaux – Laparade, 1060 Rte de Monclar, 47260 Laparade. Any other requests made by any other means will not be taken into account. Cancellations or changes will only become effective after confirmation from us.
Please provide your name, booking date(s) and file number when making your request.
- Cancellation insurance
Optional cancellation insurance is available from SafeBooking. You can view the general terms and conditions (Terms and conditions and information sheet) and take out a policy on our website when you make your booking.
Please note : if you take out this insurance, the terms and conditions of reimbursement are the sole responsibility of the insurer. No reimbursement will be made by Les Coteaux, in accordance with our general terms and conditions of sale.
The following conditions apply if you have not taken out cancellation insurance :
- Cancellation before your stay by yourself
Any cancellation more than 30 days prior to your arrival date will result in a flat fee of €50 being retained.
No cancellations will be accepted less than 30 days prior to your arrival date (unless you have cancellation insurance).
- Changes made by you prior to your stay
More than 30 days prior to your arrival date, changes can be made free of charge and subject to availability for the 12 months following the originally scheduled date. For any postponement to a different rate period, the difference in rate must be paid.
Between 30 and 15 days prior to the start date of the stay, any changes to the stay will result in a flat fee of €50 being retained (except in the case of cancellation insurance).
Less than 15 days before your stay, the date cannot be changed (unless you have cancellation insurance).
- Modification or cancellation during your stay, by yourself
It will not be possible to cancel or modify your stay once you are on site. In particular, if you are refused access to your lodge (due to vertigo, fear, etc.), no compensation can be claimed.
- Modification or cancellation prior to your stay, by Les Coteaux
If circumstances beyond our control prevent us from welcoming you in the proper conditions, such as bad weather, storms, thunderstorms or in the event of unforeseen unavailability of the lodge, we will offer to postpone your stay to a later date within the current 12 months. If another lodge of similar comfort is available on the dates of your stay, we may offer you this alternative.
No compensation may be claimed.
- Modification or cancellation during your stay, by Les Coteaux
If circumstances beyond our control prevent us from welcoming you in the usual manner, such as bad weather, storms, thunderstorms or unexpected unavailability of the lodge on the day of your arrival, we will offer to rehouse you in another lodge of similar comfort.
No refunds or other compensation may be claimed.
If we do not have any alternative accommodation available, you will be refunded the full amount paid.
ARTICLE 7 – Capacity
To book accommodation on our estate and for security and insurance reasons, one of the people staying in the cabin must be at least 18 years old. You may be asked to provide proof of identity.
The ‘Séchoir’ lodge is equipped and insured to accommodate a maximum of 4 people. No exceptions will be made for safety reasons. This lodge is also accessible to people with disabilities (Reduced Mobility Lodge).
The ‘Palombières’ and ‘Carrelets’ lodges are equipped and insured for a maximum of two people. Similarly, no exceptions will be made to exceed this number. For safety and insurance reasons, children under 130 cm tall are not accepted and must be under the responsibility of a parent.
ARTICLE 8 – Rates
Our rates include all taxes. They may vary depending on the season, economic conditions or regulatory provisions. Only the price shown on your booking voucher or confirmation letter is valid. Tourist tax may be added to this price and is payable on arrival.
For any postponement, please note that the difference in price between the original date and the postponed date will be payable by you.
ARTICLE 9 – Gift vouchers
Our gift vouchers are valid for two years from the date of purchase. No compensation can be claimed if the voucher expires.
Our gift vouchers cannot be cancelled or refunded.
Please note that the rules for modifying/cancelling a standard booking also apply to bookings made using gift vouchers (excluding refunds). However, you must ensure that you comply with the gift voucher’s validity date.
ARTICLE 10 – Additional services
Massages : For these services, we work with external partners. It is therefore necessary to pay 50% of the cost of these services at the time of booking to confirm your massage.
In the event of cancellation less than 48 hours before the date of your stay, we will retain 50% of the amount of the service.
If, for exceptional reasons, no partner is available during this time slot, or in the event of unforeseen circumstances leading to cancellation of the service, this deposit will be refunded to you.
ARTICLE 11 – Cigarettes on the premises
Smoking is strictly prohibited in our lodges. Smoking is permitted on our terraces, but cigarette butts must not be left in the environment – please use the ashtrays provided for this purpose. We also draw our guests’ attention to the risks associated with starting fires and ask for the utmost vigilance.
ARTICLE 12 – Animals
We accept small dogs as indicated in our terms and conditions and after approval by the owner. All other animals are not accepted for safety and hygiene reasons.
ARTICLE 13 – Valuables
We recommend that you do not leave any valuables in our accommodation or your vehicles. We accept no responsibility for theft, loss or damage of any kind during or following your stay. However, a safe is available for your use in your lodge.
ARTICLE 14 – Complaints and disputes
In the event of a dispute, only the jurisdiction of the Court of AGEN shall be recognised. Any complaints relating to a stay must be sent by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt within 30 days of the stay to the following address :
