What are the arrival times for the establishment ?

Keys to the lodges are handed over between 5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. If you expect to arrive after 7:30 p.m., please contact us to let us know your arrival time so that we can make the necessary arrangements to ensure your arrival goes smoothly.

If you arrive before 5 p.m., you can enjoy the grounds, the bar, and the natural pool. A shower can also be made available.

What are the departure times from the establishment ?

Keys must be returned by 11 a.m. on the day of your departure. This allows our teams to ensure that the lodge is clean and ready for our next guests !

Reservation and payment

Is the availability shown on the website up to date ?

Yes, all our reservations are updated instantly and the availability shown in the Reservations tab is accurate.

Is there a deposit to pay ?

We ask that you pay for your entire stay before your arrival in order to confirm your reservation, but we offer optional cancellation insurance so that you can cancel your stay at any time in accordance with Safebooking’s terms and conditions – Terms and conditions and information sheet.

What payment methods are available to me ?

When you make a reservation on our website, you will automatically be offered secure credit card payment (Visa, CB, Mastercard, Maestro). However, you can select another payment method and pay with your “Les Coteaux” gift card, for example. You will then be provided with all the information you need to send us your payment.

Cash payments are only possible on site.

For payments by cheque, holiday vouchers or bank transfer, please contact us by email: hello@lescoteaux.fr or by telephone. The reservation is blocked for a maximum period of 15 calendar days. Receipt of the full amount for the stay within this period will definitively confirm the booking. After 15 days, if payment has not been received, this option will be cancelled and your pre-booking will be cancelled.

Is the tourist tax included in the room price ?

The tourist tax is not included in the room price. It is €0.94 per adult per night.

How can I offer a night’s stay as a gift voucher ?

Go to the Gift Voucher page and follow the steps. You will quickly receive your gift voucher, ready to give and valid for 2 years.s.

You have received a gift voucher for Les Coteaux. How do you make a reservation ?

You can book your lodge directly on the website :

  4. In the next step, select “Gift card” as your payment method and enter the corresponding voucher number.

Can I change my reservation ?

Changes (with or without charge) are possible under certain conditions. These conditions are specified in our Terms and Conditions.

Safety & accessibility

Is the site secure ?

Our lodges can be locked from the inside and outside using a key that will be given to you when you make your reservation. They are also equipped with a safe to keep your personal belongings secure. The hotel is equipped with cameras and our staff are trained to be vigilant.

I get dizzy, can I still sleep in a cabin ?

Of course ! All our lodges are accessible via flat walkways located at the rear. Thanks to the terrain profile, each lodge offers height and views over the valley. If stairs bother you or if you are uncomfortable on a roof terrace, we recommend starting with our “Séchoir” or “Carrelet” lodges, which are all on one level.

Is it possible to bring my own candles ?

The estate is a sensitive site and, for fire safety reasons, it is forbidden to use any other flammable objects than the equipment we provide.
Candles are therefore prohibited in our lodges. But don’t worry, the lodges are equipped with soft lighting for romantic evenings.

Is smoking permitted in the lodges ?

The rooms are non-smoking, but the private terraces—some of which are covered—allow you to smoke outside. However, we ask that you be very careful with your ashes and cigarette butts. Please use the ashtrays provided on the terraces.

For fire safety reasons, smoking is not permitted in areas of the estate not designated for this purpose (walkways).

Is it possible to install a crib in our lodges ?

Yes, there is enough space in our lodges to set up a baby bed. Please let us know before your arrival so that we can provide one if needed (travel cot).

Comfort

Are your lodges equipped with roller shutters or blackout blinds ?

All our lodges are equipped with blackout blinds and external sunshades.

What type of bedding do your lodges have ?

All our lodges feature high-end, comfortable bedding with queen-size beds (160 x 200 cm). The single beds in the Séchoir on the mezzanine measure 90 x 200 cm. All beds are equipped with pillows and duvets.

Are sheets provided ?

Bed linen and towels are provided (including bathrobes). Everything you need for a cozy and comfortable stay !

Are the lodges heated in winter ?

The lodges are all equipped with wood stoves and some have reversible air conditioning. They benefit from high-performance wood wool insulation. Everything will be done to ensure your comfort, even on the coldest nights !

Are the lodges air-conditioned in summer ?

All our lodges are equipped with blackout blinds that prevent overheating, even on the hottest days. Lodges that are more exposed to the sun are also equipped with reversible air conditioning. This is always mentioned in the lodge description available when booking.

What level of amenities do you offer in the lodges? (Water, electricity, shower, toilet)

As our concept is that of a hotel surrounded by nature, our lodges are fully equipped for your maximum comfort. They are equipped with toilets and showers and, of course, have hot and cold running water.

Are the cabins close to each other ?

The cabins on the estate have been arranged in such a way as to minimize mutual visibility and maximize views of the valley. In addition, a minimum distance between cabins has been defined to ensure your privacy. You can thus enjoy the peace and quiet and the breathtaking views.

Catering, breakfast, and drinks

Is breakfast included in the room rate ?

Yes, the breakfast basket is always included in our room rates. If you do not wish to have it, please let us know in advance, but this will not change the room rate.

How does breakfast delivery work ?

The sweet and savory breakfast prepared by our team will be delivered between 8:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. to the walkway of your lodge. An assortment of teas, coffees, and hot chocolates is available in your lodge. Your lodge is also equipped with a toaster, kettle, and microwave.

Can I order a drink in my lodge ?

Each lodge is equipped with a mini-fridge containing still and sparkling water and a small selection of local products and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. A hot drinks bar is also available, offering tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and fresh herbs from our garden. If this selection does not satisfy you, a bar menu is available in the lodge. Feel free to place an order for delivery to your lodge.

Can we bring our own food ?

All our lodges are equipped with a small kitchenette (refrigerator, microwave, kettle, and toaster). For safety reasons, it is not possible to use cooking appliances in your lodge or to cook. Feel free to check out our appetizer and dinner baskets in the “Experiences and Services > Dining” tab. When you arrive at the estate, we will show you our selection of wines, beers, ciders, and other beverages to accompany your evening.

How do you make coffee in the cabin ?

You will find a French press coffee maker in all our lodges, as well as delicious coffee roasted locally in Lot-et-Garonne.

Practical questions

How should I pack my bag for a stay in Les Coteaux ?

One thing is certain: to spend time in nature, there’s no need to burden yourself with a multitude of oversized bags. Just bring the bare minimum and enjoy !

For greater convenience when moving around the estate, especially if you prefer walking, we recommend a backpack or shoulder bag rather than a wheeled suitcase. Please note that you can always request an electric cart if needed.

How far away are Les Coteaux de …?

We are not far away… In the heart of the southwest and ideally located, Les Coteaux is only :

  • 45 minutes from Agen
  • 1.5 hours from Toulouse
  • 1.5 hours from Bordeaux

For those arriving by train, the nearest station is Tonneins, 15 minutes away.

For those coming from far away, here are the nearest airports:

  • Marmande, 28 min away
  • Agen, 47 min away
  • Bergerac, 55 min away
  • Bordeaux at 1 hour 25 minutes
  • Toulouse Blagnac at 1 hour 40 minutes

At Les Coteaux, are the lodges really in the trees ?

Our lodges are perched high up in the trees, but they do not use the trees as support. They rest on stilts between 3 and 5 meters high. In some cabins, trees grow through the terraces for total immersion.

Are pets allowed ?

We accept small dogs (under 10 kg) only in our Carrelets. However, it is essential to contact us in advance so that we can confirm that your dog is welcome. For reasons of hygiene and allergy exposure, we cannot accept cats or any other animals.

Is there WiFi ?

The lodges are not equipped with Wi-Fi : this is the perfect opportunity to enjoy nature and treat yourself to a real break from technology. However, free Wi-Fi is available in the common areas near the parking area (reception, lounge, swimming pool).

Do you have a massage room ?

The messages are created in lodges so that guests can enjoy a true immersion in nature.

Do I need to clean my cabin when I leave ?

You do not need to clean your lodge. However, we ask that you leave dirty towels on the floor and dishes in the sink to make it easier for our cleaning team to do their job.

Is it possible to park near the cabins ?

Cars must be parked in the designated parking area at the entrance to the estate. Access to the lodges is on foot or by golf cart upon request. We recommend that you bring bags that are easy to carry. The lodges are located in a completely natural setting. When traveling and walking around the estate, and for the comfort of all, please respect the peace and quiet of the surrounding nature.

Do you have charging stations for electric cars ?

Our customers can recharge their electric cars using our two charging stations located in the parking lot next to the reception building.

Is it possible to rent bikes on the estate ?

Yes, it is possible ! Cycling enthusiasts are welcome. We offer various types of mountain bikes and electric bikes. For more details, please visit our “Experiences and Services > Take Your Time” page. You can select this option when making your reservation.

Nordic baths

What is the temperature of the Nordic bath ?

The temperature of the Nordic bath is normally between 35° and 40°. The temperature of the baths may vary depending on the season to ensure you enjoy the most comfortable bathing experience possible.

I am pregnant, can I bathe in the Nordic bath ?

Unfortunately, swimming in Nordic baths is strongly discouraged for pregnant women due to the temperature of the baths.

Can children swim in the Nordic bath ?

Children may bathe in the Nordic bath, but under the full responsibility of their parents or guardians. We do not recommend bathing for children under 6 years of age due to the temperature of the Nordic baths.

How is Nordic bath water treated ?

Our Nordic baths are equipped with filters and UV treatment technology. Thanks to their treatment and filtration system, we use very few chemicals.
