Purpose and scope
The internal regulations define the conditions of stay, safety and behaviour within Coteaux Lodges. They supplement the general terms and conditions of sale (GTC).
Arrival and departure
Check-in: from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Check-out: before 11 a.m.
Any arrival outside these hours must be notified in advance.
Valid identification and a means of payment may be required (Article L.111-1 of the Tourism Code). A copy of the identification document may be made with the customer’s consent and kept in the establishment’s archives.
Occupancy of lodges
Each lodge must be occupied by the number of people indicated at the time of booking.
Any additional persons must be reported.
Children remain the responsibility of their parents or guardians (Article 1242 of the Civil Code), and minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The lodges can only accommodate the number of people specified in the booking. An exception is made for babies under three years of age, who remain the responsibility of their parents or guardians. Any additional children must be reported at the time of booking and may incur an additional charge. Children remain under the responsibility of their parents or guardians (Article 1242 of the Civil Code), and minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Animal shelter
Pets may be allowed in the lodges only with the prior consent of the establishment and for an additional fee. Guide dogs and assistance dogs for disabled persons are accepted free of charge. Owners remain fully responsible for any damage or nuisance caused by their pets.
Behaviour and conduct
Appropriate attire is required in the lodges and common areas.
Respect for staff and other customers and maintaining calm are mandatory.
Noise pollution, aggressive behaviour, harassment or discriminatory remarks are strictly prohibited.
Unauthorised persons are not permitted to access the lodges.
Silence must be observed between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.
Refusal of sale or access
The establishment may refuse to admit a customer for legitimate reasons, such as indecent attire, noisy or aggressive behaviour, obvious drunkenness or failure to comply with applicable regulations (alcohol, tobacco, etc.). Any discrimination based on origin, gender, disability or family situation is strictly prohibited. In the event of behaviour that endangers staff, customers or public order, the establishment may call on the police.
Security and access
The establishment is accessible to persons with disabilities.
Doors must remain locked, and cards or keys are personal and non-transferable. In the event of loss, compensation may be requested.
Lodges must remain accessible to staff for maintenance or security reasons, unless specifically requested by the guest.
It is strictly forbidden to light fires, candles or smoke indoors (Articles R.3511-7 et seq. of the Public Health Code).
Safety instructions and the location of fire extinguishers are clearly indicated in each lodge.
Breakfast and services
Breakfast is served according to the times indicated at check-in.
Optional services (romantic packages, champagne, chocolates) must be booked and paid for according to the specified conditions.

Household linen must be handled with care; any damage will be charged (Articles 1382 et seq. of the Civil Code).

Sanitation system
The estate is equipped with a Tricel Novo micro-station. To ensure it works properly, please do not flush anything other than toilet paper down the loo.
Do not throw away: sanitary protection, kitchen roll, wipes, baby nappies, medicines, etc.
This list is not exhaustive, but provides examples of waste that should not be disposed of.
Deposit and responsibilities
A deposit or bank imprint may be requested to cover any damage.
Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the lodges, furniture or equipment.
Les Coteaux Lodges accepts no responsibility for theft or loss of personal belongings, except in the event of negligence on the part of the establishment (Articles 1910 et seq. of the Civil Code).
Force majeure
Force majeure events are considered to be all events usually recognised by French courts and tribunals that prevent either party from fulfilling its obligations. In the event of force majeure, the party prevented from fulfilling its obligations must immediately inform the other party, in writing where possible, in order to limit the consequences. In this case, any sums already paid by the customer shall be refunded and the establishment shall not be held liable for the non-performance of its service.
Sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages
The sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages within the establishment are strictly regulated. It is prohibited to sell or make alcoholic beverages available to minors or to anyone who is clearly intoxicated. The establishment reserves the right to request proof of age to verify that customers are of legal age. Excessive consumption of alcoholic beverages or any behaviour that endangers the safety or well-being of other customers may result in expulsion from the establishment.
Respect for the site and the environment
Access to the swimming pool, terrace, spa and other facilities is subject to compliance with the rules in force. Any breach may result in temporary suspension of access to these facilities.
Calm and respect for the environment are essential. Traffic is restricted to authorised areas and parking is only permitted in the car park.
Emergencies and contact details
In case of emergency, contact reception immediately. Staff are trained to respond to ensure your safety and that of others.
Mediation and complaints
After contacting management without receiving a satisfactory response within two months, the customer may refer the matter to the Tourism and Travel Mediator, whose contact details are as follows: BP 80 303 – 75 823 Paris Cedex 17, website: www.mtv.travel. Complaints relating to the non-performance or poor performance of services must be made in writing within eight days of the customer’s departure.
Video surveillance and WI-FI
Areas monitored by CCTV are clearly marked in accordance with regulations. Recordings are used exclusively for the safety of staff and customers. Internet access is provided for legal use and in compliance with copyright laws. Any illegal downloading or infringement of third-party rights is strictly prohibited and may result in the customer being held liable.
Acceptance of the rules
La réservation et l’occupation d’un lodge aux Coteaux Lodges impliquent l’acceptation pleine et entière du présent règlement intérieur, conformément aux articles L.324-1 et suivants du Code du tourisme. Tout manquement grave pourra entraîner l’exclusion de l’établissement sans remboursement (article L.221-3 du Code de la consommation).
