A certification
Four categories, one shared commitment
Tourism & Disability is the national certification dedicated to accessibility in tourism. It is managed by the Tourisme & Handicaps association, under the supervision of Atout France, France’s national tourism agency.
It covers four categories of disability: physical, visual, hearing and cognitive. An establishment can be certified for one, two, three or all four categories.
At Coteaux Lodges & Expériences, it is Le Séchoir cabin that meets this high standard, across all four categories of disability.
Certification is earned in the field. Two assessors visit the property with a detailed checklist in hand, carefully reviewing every aspect with the utmost rigor.

The Séchoir
our certified cabin
Inside, a cosy retreat for up to four guests: a bed facing a huge picture window, a spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower, a kitchenette, and a cocooning living area centred around the wood-burning stove… Here are the specific features we have introduced to make it accessible to everyone :
- Step-free access from the car park to the terrace, with no steps anywhere on the ground floor.
- All doors provide at least 0.80 m of clear width, while the layout allows unobstructed access to both the bed and the terrace, making it easy to navigate with a wheelchair.
- Only the mezzanine, which provides two additional sleeping spaces, is accessed via stairs.
The bathroom meets the same accessibility standards, with a step-free walk-in shower, grab bars, a height-adjusted washbasin and a 1.50 m turning space.

A warm welcome from the moment you arrive
From reception to your lodge
Our reception area, L’Atelier, is fully step-free and accessible. A dedicated accessible parking space is available right next to it, just a few steps from the entrance.
Our team will be there to guide you all the way to your cabin, with no unnecessary detours.
The path from the car park to your cabin is also well lit.
The Séchoir
A cabin like any other, with a little extra care
The private spa, located on the terrace, is unfortunately not independently accessible to guests with reduced mobility.
Please let our team know before your arrival so that we can arrange the assistance needed to use the spa, or have your companion assist you.
Plan your visit
